Delete your account
Last updated: July 14, 2026
You can permanently delete your FirstPass account and all of your study data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
DELETE to confirm, and your account is erased
immediately. No email, no waiting.
If you can’t open the app
Email brandon.postlethwait@yahoo.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my FirstPass account”.
The request must come from the account’s own email address — that’s how I confirm it’s really you. Your account will be deleted within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your account and email address
- Your name, if you provided one
- Every practice exam and quiz attempt, with scores and dates
- Lessons completed and knowledge-check scores
- Flashcard mastery, study plan, and app settings
- Your subscription status record
Deletion is permanent and immediate — there is no grace period and no way to recover the data afterwards. Nothing is retained.
Important: cancel your subscription first
If you subscribe to Pro, deleting your account does not cancel that subscription. Apple bills it, not me, and I have no ability to cancel it on your behalf.
Cancel it first on your iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → FirstPass → Cancel Subscription. If you delete your account without cancelling, Apple will keep charging you.
