Questions people ask

Is this official HRCI material?

No. FirstPass HR is independent study material written to HRCI's published exam content outlines. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by HRCI, and our questions are not official exam items.

Which exam should I take?

HRCI sets the eligibility rules. Broadly, the PHR is for operational HR professionals and the SPHR is for those in strategic or policy-making roles, with experience requirements that depend on your education. Check hrci.org before applying.

Does it cover both exams?

Yes, as separate tracks with separate question banks, lessons, exam formats and progress. Choose on first launch and switch any time in Settings.

When does it launch?

FirstPass HR is in App Store review now. Use the "Get notified" button above and we'll email you the day it's live. Our SHRM-CP/SCP app, FirstPass, is available today.

Android?

Can I delete my account and data?
